West Bridgewater, MA
A house is coming down in next couple weeks which has a belt driven machine shop. We are taking some line shafting and such for restoration of Hatch Sawmill. However the machines need homes otherwise they're going in a dumpster. Please contact me asap if there's any chance you can take any of this. The shop is very littered with stuff and the building is borderline unsafe. It will be hard to remove these VERY large and heavy items.
Lathe 1- Flather & Company- about 15" swing x 4 foot, the only one of movable size, unfortunately in the back of the shop, difficult to get to. about 1910 vintage.
Lathe 2- LeBond 19- 8 foot+ bed, probably too big to move
Lathe 3- I H Johnson, Philadelphia- massive size, estimate 36" swing x 10+ bed, probably too big to move
2 "camelback" drill presses- one huge, the other smaller but still a big job to move
1 horizontal milling machine, again very heavy
A couple engine (Hercules) driven DC generators
most tooling for the machines and all hand tools are gone. Piles of junk, but I think it has been picked over.
