Dan, I will be listing my home / grist mill (1731 original, rebuilt in 1800) for sale this week. But it is in central NJ. It was badly damaged by Ida and I did not rennovate. However, the land in the area is valuable and so I am afraid the next owner will tear it down to develop. It is a local icon and a locally well-known landmark.
If she has any interest, you can message me or if you know of anyone else who might be interested. It is a dream if you can fix it. Breaks my heart to leave. Original post and beam from 1731, beautiful heart of pine floors, comes with a ca 1700 barn and an acre of land. View of a 10 foot waterfall. But definitely a labor of love. All original belts, sifters, plough parts, mill stones and various equipment to be included. Historic street with nearby residences associated to it's historical significance, miller's cottage, general store and feed yeard, mill worker's cottages, all now rennovated into homes. Septic with perc soil, and public utilites available (gas, electric), water can be well or city. Currently red tagged due to utility shut off after the storm.
